Design Consultant (Ballard)

Position Overview Working at QVC Group as a Design Consultant involves elevating the guest experience by providing interior design expertise across studio, home, virtual, and on‑demand appointments while promoting community outreach. Location & Schedule On‑site in Raleigh, NC. Relocation assistance is not available. The role requires flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities Provide design expertise for scheduled appointments (studio and home visits), virtual appointments, and on‑demand design time. Identify and network with local organizations and businesses that could benefit from Design Solutions services, supplying them with marketing materials. Support the retail store team with order entry, visual floor sets, merchandising reinforcement, store maintenance, and product training activities. Qualifications 2+ years’ experience in interior design, consultation, and event planning. Strong space‑planning skills. Basic drafting skills with the ability to read and interpret architectural and floor plans. Experience conducting home visits with established guests. Valid driver’s license. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
