As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Topton, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, offering a dynamic role that supports daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork. - Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify security-related concerns and/or policy violations.
- Monitor entrances, exits, visitor activity, and/or vehicle traffic, helping to support authorized access and documenting security-related events as needed.
- Complete routine reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate observed hazards, maintenance issues, and/or operational concerns to appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
