Must have completed ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years ABA Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting a kindergarten student in a special day class setting as a Registered Behavior Technician. This contract position offers full-time hours (30-32 hours per week) through the end of the school year, working within a collaborative educational environment near Union City, California.

Candidates selected for this role will make a tangible difference as part of a dedicated team, utilizing their specialized skills to support student success. Preference will be given to those living locally who bring prior school-based experience and a ready-to-go attitude.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential required
  • Full, up-to-date credentials—only fully credentialed applicants will be considered
  • Previous experience in a school or classroom, especially in special education, is strongly preferred
  • Prior work with kindergarten-aged students is advantageous
  • Candidates must reside locally—these positions are not open to travel applicants
  • Must be able to complete both agency and district onboarding processes, including fingerprinting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct behavior intervention services to a kindergarten student within a special day class
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision (supervision will be arranged through the agency)
  • Collect and report data to track student progress and meet district reporting requirements
  • Work collaboratively with classroom staff, teachers, and related service professionals for comprehensive student support
