Interventional Radiologist (IR/DR Hybrid)
A healthcare system in Altoona, Pennsylvania is seeking an Interventional Radiologist (IR/DR hybrid) to join a well-established clinical radiology division. This role involves a combination of interventional procedures and diagnostic radiology, supporting the needs of a community hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures
- Interpret diagnostic imaging studies across multiple modalities
- Provide image-guided, minimally invasive treatments
- Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a community hospital environment
Qualifications
- MD or equivalent medical degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology
- Eligible to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license
- Demonstrated proficiency in interventional radiology procedures required in a community hospital setting
Work Environment
- Practice within a community hospital setting
- Supportive clinical radiology division with collaborative team structure
