Lamination Operator

Under the direction of the Lamination Department Direct Operators must be ableperform the duties at Feed In, Buttweld, or Exit End. Ensure a safe work environment and identify training opportunities to reduce accidents and employee injuries. Position full A-frame. Align fabric edge to machine using machine sensors and controls, work with recording data into the computer, multiple system usage in the ICE stations Start machine and give attention to fabric running; inspect fabric for defects, according to SOP/Work instructions. Stop Machine Change rolls, perform style changes, clock in, and out work orders. Cut sample for lab. Conform to future changes coming with flatbed. Ensure that daily production goals Receive verbal instructions, get work tools, store them as well as get supplies Pay attention to detail Effectively execute tasks Lean manufacturing experience is strongly desired ABILITY TO Ability to accurately and consistently follow detailed procedures. Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously in a fast- paced environment. Ability to perform physically demanding work such as moving and lifting equipment, sitting, or standing for long periods of time. Ability to grasp concepts presented within a reasonable time.
