About the Clinician‘s Workday

The psychiatric nurse practitioner will provide full-time outpatient psychiatric services for adult patients at a community behavioral health facility, working 40 hours per week during day shifts on-site. Clinical responsibilities include conducting initial psychiatric evaluations allocated at 1 hour per visit and providing medication management during follow-up appointments of 15-20 minutes. The clinician will manage general psychiatry cases for an adult patient population within an established outpatient care framework. Board certification and prescriptive authority are required for this assignment, and no call coverage is required.
