Job Opportunity – Cardiac Electrophysiologist – Arizona

Start Date: Multiple shifts available starting July 2026

Location: Arizona

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Multiple assignment blocks available through December 2026. Shifts are 7:00am-5:00pm with 1-hour lunch. Assignment dates include July, August, September, October, November, and December blocks (specific holiday exclusions apply).

Highlights:

• Perform 4-6 electrophysiology cases per day plus 3-4 hospital consults in a 268-bed facility
• Clinic volume of 20-22 adult patients per day
• Utilize Abbott Ensite-X Mapping system with Cerner EMR
• Focus on cardiac ablations and heart rhythm disturbances with moderate sedation privileges
• Orientation includes 4 hours of paid remote Cerner training prior to start
• Flexible assignment blocks with overtime and holiday pay at 1.5x rate

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiac Electrophysiology
• Active Arizona medical license or willing to obtain (proof of application required if pending)
• Arizona DEA registration
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience with documented case logs showing 100+ EP cases in the last 2 years, with emphasis on ablations
• Proficiency with Abbott Ensite-X Mapping system required
• Must be credentialed to perform TEEs and moderate sedation independently
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
