Nurse – Medical

Nights 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend & holiday required.

Assignment Details

Travel RN may be required to float to other units.

Requirements

• Current nursing license in the state
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in patient care.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to approved nursing techniques, policies, and state laws.
• Document patient care according to standards of care.
• Develop and execute individualized patient care plans in collaboration with physicians.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Utilize clinical expertise to support patient care across various units as necessary.
• Exercise critical thinking regarding patient safety and escalate issues appropriately.
