What You'll Do: As a Hospice Physician, you will play a vital role in guiding the medical aspect of our Interdisciplinary Team and serving as a supportive liaison between patients' primary physicians, our caregivers, and the medical community. Key responsibilities include: Collaborating with the hospice team to ensure exceptional care plans for patients and families. Participating in patient admissions and recertification processes with expertise and empathy. Providing medical guidance in all aspects of hospice care, including crisis management and home visits when needed. Acting as a trusted resource for physician and community education and fostering strong relationships with healthcare providers and facilities. Driving quality improvement initiatives and contributing to agency-wide excellence in service delivery. This position is ideal for someone who embraces the hospice philosophy and is passionate about offering end-of-life care with dignity and compassion. What We're Looking For: An active and unencumbered Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) license within the state of employment. The ability to make thoughtful and empathetic decisions while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of the needs of hospice care.
