Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient and family support and nursing care within their full scope of practice. This includes participation in the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of programs and services for patients, families, and the community. The RN will observe, collect data, plan, implement, and evaluate the physical, psychological, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs of patients, guided by an individualized and ongoing plan of care. The RN will work collaboratively as a member of the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for surgical and medical patients, including joint replacements, hip fractures, open abdominal surgeries, and neck and back surgeries.
• Participate in care planning and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as needed.
• Assist in educating patients and families regarding health maintenance and disease prevention.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active and valid RN license.
• Completion of Centralus Skills Checklist, Core Competency Exam, Rhythm Interpretation Exam.
• Proof of immunity vaccinations including MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, and current TB test.
• Driver's License/State ID required for onboarding.
