This ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing position is located in Evanston, Illinois. The role involves providing specialized critical care for neuro and stroke patients, requiring candidates to bring their nursing license on the first day. The position offers a 36-hour daytime schedule with a start date of July 5, 2026, and candidates must possess the necessary licensure and experience specified.

Job Details:

• Location: Evanston, Illinois
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, Day shift
• Required Qualifications: Illinois licensed registered nurse, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification; 2+ years of ICU experience with a focus on neuro and stroke care; experience with EPIC charting; must pass an EKG test with a score of 80% or higher at submission; submit an updated resume, skills checklist (completed within 12 months), one reference (completed within 12 months), and Illinois license verification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Flexibility to float to other units and potentially other facilities such as Skokie, Highland Park, and Glenbrook.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Weekend Requirements: E/O weekend.
• On-Call Requirements: None.
• Holiday Requirements: As needed.
• Additional Information: Orientation occurs on Mondays, with credentials due on the Thursday before the start date. Orientation hours total 12 hours, with pay during orientation, and no bill is applied.
