Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Duties and Responsibilities: Own assigned areas of the monthly close across multiple related entities - journal entries, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and roll-forward schedules - on a firm calendar Maintain cash reconciliations, compliance reporting, general accounting, internal controls, and cost accounting. Perform job-level cost accounting: allocate overhead, equipment, and labor to job classes and sites, and explain month-over-month movement in revenue and cost Reconcile intercompany and related-party activity between affiliated entities Support external audits needs by pulling supporting documentation Document procedures and improve them - we expect recurring work to get faster and more reliable each cycle This role requires both hands-on execution (reconciliations, month-end schedules, AP resolutions when needed) and analytical judgment (cost analysis, cutoff, and accruals). Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required (advanced degree or certificate preferred) 4+ years of progressive accounting experience Experience assisting in maintaining books for multiple legal entities, including intercompany activity Job costing or project/WIP accounting experience strongly preferred Working knowledge of construction, trades, mining, heavy equipment, or related industries preferred QuickBooks and AP automation/invoice processing systems a plus Advanced Excel: VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, filters, and formula-driven schedules Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time management skills High level of accuracy, efficiency, detail, and accountability #J-18808-Ljbffr Rango Inc.
