PACU Registered Nurse This role is based at Parkview Tower, a Level 1 trauma center. Registered Nurses will primarily rotate between the Post‑Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and the pre/post interventional radiology area within the PACU unit. Shift and Schedule Shift: 3×12 hour nights, 1900–0730. 24‑hour call required every six weeks. No weekends scheduled; on‑call call is part of the position. Key Responsibilities Manage postoperative patients requiring complex care, including multiple drains, vasoactive drips, mechanical ventilation, and recovery from general anesthesia. Provide evidence‑based monitoring and rapid response for dysrhythmias. Utilize Epic electronic health record for charting and documentation. Float within scope to meet facility needs within the service line. Qualifications BLS, ACLS, Vents, IV start, Telemetry certifications required. At least one year of critical care experience, preferably from a Level I trauma center. Pass Relias EKG exam and demonstrate interpretation/management of dysrhythmias. Must hold a valid RN license. No local residents accepted; home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility. Maximum return‑to‑office (RTO) restrictions: no more than 7 days. Benefits & Compensation Base salary is competitive for the region and includes 40 guaranteed hours per week. The position is available to first‑timers and to RN’s accepting 3×12 hour night shifts.
