University Hospitals Digestive Health Institute is seeking a general gastroenterologist to provide digestive disease care to our community across the continuum. The role will include inpatient consults, general endoscopy (both urgent and elective), ambulatory office hours, as well as coverage at Geauga Medical Center. University Hospitals Digestive Health Institute is dedicated to providing high-quality health care. Patient-centered experiences are focused on privacy and value. Our physicians, surgeons and advanced practitioners are located throughout our integrated system of academic and regional medical centers. Expert medical and surgical teams collaborate to provide comprehensive, compassionate care for each patient. Programs range from essential preventive screening and wellness initiatives to the most complex care for advanced diseases, such as inflammatory bowel disease and gastrointestinal cancers. UH Digestive Health Institute is composed of gastroenterologists, hepatologists and surgeons working with nurses, dietitians and other providers – all committed to digestive health. This integrated model of health care means patients are seen by specialists from multiple disciplines, working together to provide personalized care plans. Work Site Highlights: UH Ahuja Medical Center is situated on a 53-acre campus near the intersection of I-271 and Harvard Road at Chagrin Highlands in Beachwood. The site offers convenient access from Cleveland's eastern and southeastern communities, as well as Lake and Summit counties. UH Ahuja Medical Center is among the newest and most technologically advanced hospitals in Ohio. The operating rooms and other patient care areas were created using evidence-based design elements to provide the safest and most efficient spaces for patients to receive surgical care. Qualifications
