Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to patients during the childbirth process and ensure a safe delivery environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Assist in triage, postpartum care, and surgical procedures.
- Monitor and assess maternal and fetal health throughout labor.
- Administer medications and interventions as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Float to NICU and Pediatric units as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
- Current RN license valid in the state of practice.
- BLS and NRP certifications required.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Schedule:
This position requires availability for night shifts (3x12 hours) and rotation every third weekend and holidays.
