ERP Data Specialist (Item Master & Manufacturing Data)

We're looking for an ERP Data Specialist to join a growing manufacturing team responsible for maintaining the critical ERP data that keeps operations running efficiently. In this role, you'll own the accuracy and integrity of item master records, Bills of Material (BOMs), routings, and related manufacturing data within the ERP system. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, collaborating across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and finance, and ensuring the information behind production is accurate and reliable. While experience with Infor XA is a plus, candidates with similar manufacturing ERP experience are encouraged to apply. What You'll Do Create and maintain item master records, including descriptions, units of measure, product classifications, and planning parameters. Build and update Bills of Material (BOMs), ensuring component, quantity, and revision accuracy. Maintain manufacturing routings, work centers, labor standards, and operation sequencing. Process Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) while following established change control procedures. Perform regular data audits to ensure ERP data remains accurate, complete, and consistent. Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance to validate and maintain critical system data. Investigate and resolve ERP data issues impacting planning, production, inventory, or costing. Maintain documentation for data standards, naming conventions, and best practices. Support ERP enhancements, system testing, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives. What We're Looking For 2+ years of experience working with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment. Experience maintaining item master data , Bills of Material (BOMs) , and manufacturing routings . Understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and inventory management. Strong attention to detail with a passion for data accuracy and quality. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Infor XA or another manufacturing ERP system (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Epicor, QAD, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.). Experience supporting engineering change management (ECR/ECO). Background in master data management or data governance. Experience participating in ERP implementations, upgrades, or system improvements. What Makes Someone Successful Maintains highly accurate item master, BOM, and routing data.
