About the Position

Job Title

RN - Telemetry (Medical Surgical)

Decatur, GA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to telemetry and medical surgical patients
• Manage and monitor ED border patients within specialty scope
• Float between facilities within a defined local radius as needed, remaining within specialty
• Receive shift assignments in advance, including facility location for each scheduled shift

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Experience in telemetry and/or medical surgical nursing
• Ability to float between facilities within a 15-mile radius as needed
• Must reside outside of a 50-mile radius of the facility (non-local travelers only)
• All time-off requests must be submitted upfront prior to assignment start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Experience managing ED border or overflow patients
