Shipping Clerk - Oriskany NY
The Shipping Clerk is responsible for the daily shipment of scheduled and non-scheduled shipments of goods to our customers.
Primary Duties
- Preparing and processing orders for shipment and ensuring accuracy
- Prepare documentation and labels in accordance with company procedures
- Pick spools based on customer pick lists
- Operate cut machines to prepare spool lengths for shipment
- Operator various material handling equipment for picking orders and putting items back in the correct locations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for prolong periods of time
- Use paper and computer-based documentation
- Ability to operate shipping machinery
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required
- Work safely and follow safety standards
Hours: 9:30am to 6:00pm
Steel toe shoes are required
