Carolina Bucci makes inspiring, distinctive jewelry designed with a reverence for craftsmanship and executed with elegance. Established by fourth generation fine jeweler Carolina Bucci, our brand and its creations are interwoven with the personal stories of our designer and the rich heritage of the Bucci family. Every piece of fine jewelry is created in the family's workshops in the goldsmiths' quarter of Florence, where Carolina can sit side by side with craftsmen to work out how each new design can be realized. This simple, direct relationship between creative and creation is at the very heart of what Carolina Bucci stands for. Our boutique at the Montecito Country Mart is growing, and we are looking for an exceptional Sales Associate: someone who is passionate about fine jewelry and luxury retail, and who loves building meaningful, long-term relationships with clients. What You'll Do Represent the Carolina Bucci brand by consistently delivering best-in-class client experiences and building lasting client relationships. Develop and nurture a personal client book through thoughtful clienteling, follow-ups, and outreach. Drive individual sales performance while contributing to the success of the boutique team. Support day-to-day store operations, including inventory accuracy, cash handling, and register procedures. Partner with the team to maintain impeccable product presentation and boutique standards. Participate in private appointments, client events, and community engagements in Montecito and Santa Barbara. Act as a guardian of Carolina Bucci's key values: Details Matter, Always Move Forward, Be Curious, Choreography is Key, and K.I.S.S. (Keep It Super Simple). What We're Looking For Experience: A minimum of 2 years in specialty retail, preferably within a luxury or fine jewelry setting. Client Focus: A genuine passion for delivering personalized luxury experiences and a commitment to treating every interaction as a chance to shine. Relationship Builder: A natural ability to connect with clients and turn a first visit into a lasting relationship. An existing client network is a plus. Team Player: A proactive, collaborative team member who takes ownership, supports colleagues, and maintains high standards. Composure: Confident and always composed, able to remain graceful under pressure. Skills: Detail oriented with strong technical skills in POS systems, clienteling tools, and Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and Excel). Availability: Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evening events Compensation $20 to $27 per hour, plus commission and benefits.
