Air Import Coordinator

About the role:

We are seeking an Air Import Operations Coordinator to join our freight forwarding team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end air import process from shipment file creation through final delivery while ensuring regulatory compliance, accurate documentation, and a high standard of client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Open and maintain shipment files within our logistics management system, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all documentation.
• Liaise with customs brokers to facilitate timely and compliant clearance of inbound shipments
• Coordinate with domestic trucking partners to ensure efficient, on-time freight delivery.
• Communicate proactively with clients and overseas agents regarding shipment status, delays, or Prepare transaction reports to support accurate and timely customer billing.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, supervisors, and department managers to support overall operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in freight forwarding or international logistics strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to adapt quickly to logistics software platforms
• Experience with CargoWise is an advantage

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts, with occasional weekend availability based on operational needs.
