Job Overview Medical facility in Detroit is seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist for an ongoing locum opportunity beginning January 2027 . This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-volume practice with a diverse mix of vascular, non-vascular, and emergent IR procedures. Opportunity Highlights Location: Detroit, MI Start: January 2027 Ongoing assignment Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-3:30 PM No call required Multiple providers needed Inpatient and outpatient coverage Cerner EMR Teaching environment with resident interaction Clinical Responsibilities Vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures Embolization procedures for trauma and GI bleeds Diagnostic and therapeutic angiography Thrombolysis IVC filter placements and removals Nephrostomy tube placements Cholecystostomies Abscess drainages Trauma embolization (splenic, hepatic, pelvic) Opportunity to interpret diagnostic imaging between procedures Requirements Active, unrestricted Michigan Medical License ABR Certification DEA License Board Certified in Interventional Radiology / Diagnostic Radiology Experience with emergent and complex IR procedures preferred Additional Details Temporary privileges available Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days Holiday coverage not required for major federal holidays Vendor-provided malpractice insurance Apply today to learn more about schedule flexibility, facility details, and compensation.
