Primary Responsibilities (common across many listings): Identify and develop new clients (hunting) for Outsourced Product Development or IT services. Build and manage a sales funnel; achieve revenue targets (often upwards of $1.0–1.5 million annually). Prepare business plans and GTM strategies; coordinate with inside sales and delivery teams. Deal structuring, negotiations, and closing deals with clients. Prepare budgets/forecasts for onsite & offshore resources; maintain pipeline. Lead or participate in marketing and sales strategy development for target Fortune 50/100/500 accounts or start-ups. Skills/Knowledge Required (typical requirements across postings): Ability to articulate value propositions at CXO levels; strong presentation and communication skills. Competitive analysis and refinement of sales toolkit; independent, target-driven work ethos. Entrepreneurial orientation and initiative; ability to leverage networks to create pipelines. Strong drive for results; ability to meet goals and deadlines; detail-oriented. Ability to understand client needs and proactively develop solutions. Verticals Specific Skills/Knowledge : BFSI – Banking & Financial Services – IT perspective; knowledge of Basel, AML & EAI services. CPG&R – IT perspective; SCM, ERP, RFID trends for Retail. T&H – IT perspective; technologies relevant to Travel & Hospitality. Experience : 8–10 years in solution selling in BFSI or related sectors; offshore/outsourcing experience is common. Record of closing deals (e.g., >$1M) over past 3 years; preparing domain white papers; CIO-level interactions. Qualifications & Certifications : BS Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent; MBA Marketing preferred. Other Requirements : Excellent communication skills; legal work authorization status proof; two professional references; non-compete agreement if shortlisted.
