Required Skills:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited program (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in transmission engineering, with 5+ years preferred.
• Strong knowledge of civil/structural engineering techniques, codes (NESC, NERC, FERC), and standards.
• Proficiency with design software such as CAD and PLS-CADD.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze, problem-solve, and apply critical thinking in complex environments.
• Experience in preparing specifications, technical bid summaries, and reports.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior consulting experience in transmission or civil engineering projects.
• Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam or EIT certification.
• Experience performing economic conductor selection, grounding calculations, and lightning performance studies.
• Knowledge of project management and client communication.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or related Engineering Technology; a Master's in Civil Engineering is a plus.
• At least 3 years of relevant transmission engineering experience, with a preference for 5+ years.
• Hands-on experience with project design, field inspections, and technical report compilation.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to travel up to 10% for project site visits.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to work in both office and field environments.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and timely project delivery.
