Tax Manager

They are seeking a Tax Manager to oversee a team of highly motivated staff. The successful Tax Manager will have high ethical standards and make an impact on day one. Performance Expectations for the Tax Manager:

* Oversee and train a team of highly motivated staff accountants/tax accountants
* Provide tax compliance and consulting to a diverse base of clients
* Oversee complex tax projects for a variety of clients and diverse industries
* Maintain strong relationships with clients
* Be a hands-on leader
* Be the bridge between the Partners & Staff

Experience/Qualifications for the Tax Manager:

* Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, or Equivalent
* Master of Science and Taxation degree (highly desirable)
* CPA Certificate required (Open to an EA with the right skill set)
* A minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience in public accounting. Experience in Audit & or Business Advisory is highly desired.
* Must have the ability to utilize firm technology to enhance client service
* Must have strong multi-tasking skills
* Must have strong leadership skills
* Must be willing to work >40 hours per week during busy season
* Applicants must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation for the Tax Manager:

* Benefits: Simple IRA w/ 3% match & Major Holiday's Paid
* 10 days of PTO/ year + 1 PTO day accrual/ month

* No required minimum billable hours
