What You’ll Bring:

• Master’s degree in Library Information Science
• Active South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) licensure with endorsement as a media specialist/librarian, or a valid reciprocal license from another state
• Strong background in general education principles
• Experience working in a middle and/or high school setting is highly valued
• Innovative mindset with a passion for encouraging student discovery in literacy and digital media
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, teachers, and staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Curate and maintain a diverse and age-appropriate library collection
• Integrate digital resources and library media into daily classroom instruction
• Guide students in developing research, literacy, and digital citizenship skills
• Collaborate with faculty to enhance curriculum through library programs
• Promote a welcoming, inclusive environment for all students
• Support the educational goals and learning standards of the school
