Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as a Medical Assistant, where you will play a vital role in supporting healthcare providers and ensuring a smooth, efficient, and compassionate patient care experience. This position involves performing patient care duties within the scope of medical assistant licensure, assisting with treatments and procedures, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform patient care tasks as directed by providers, ensuring timely and accurate execution of orders.
• Facilitate patient flow to optimize clinic operations and enhance patient experience, communicating wait times effectively.
• Assist with treatments and procedures, preparing necessary supplies and ensuring proper consent is obtained.
• Notify patients of test results as directed by providers and document presenting complaints and vital signs.
• Administer immunizations under provider supervision, adhering to legal and safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records and manage referral processes efficiently.
• Conduct daily room checks, stock exam rooms, manage sample medications, and ensure infection control practices are followed.
• Collaborate with environmental services to maintain a clean and safe clinical environment.
• Participate in special projects and support team activities to foster a positive work environment.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited certified medical assistant program.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Medical Assistant Certification and Licensure as required by the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.

Skills and Abilities

• Strong knowledge of medical assistant duties and patient care techniques.
• Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
