Clinician

? Maintain flexibleschedule to perform clinical assessments, provide individual/group therapy andintensive outpatient services. ? Secure initial insurance authorizationand all required concurrent authorizations throughout care. ? Complete all treatmentplanning and discharge documentation according to policy. ? Input all clinicaldocumentation in Connecticut Renaissance's EHR accurately and timely. Communicate with referral sources on the status of eachclient's progress and performance within the program, including thepreparation of reports. Participate in allrequired internal and external meetings. Provide urinalysis/breathalizertesting when indicated and within guidelines of monitoring. Attend all requiredtrainings to enhance knowledge and skill level Adhere tolicensing, accreditation and funding source requirements. Meet thresholds for program and agency outcomesmeasures. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics: Knowledge Of: ?Diagnosis andassessment of co-occurring disorders. ?Fee for service andbilling requirements for outpatient services. ?Electronic HealthRecord Ability To: ?Communicateeffectively both verbally and in writing. ?Manage prioritieseffectively to meet deadlines and demonstrate multi-tasking skills. ?Ability to employeffective organizational skills to meet goals ?Able to workindependently and as part of a team Education and Experience: ? MasterDegree with Licensure in Behavioral Health (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) or AssociateLicensure (LPCa, LMFTa, LMSW) in CT. Additional LADC a plus. ? Minimumof 3 years of working experience in behavioral health field. ? Experiencein trauma informed care preferred. ? Experiencewith substance abuse clients, co-occurring diagnosed clients and criminaljustice population preferred. Other: Mustbe dependable and reliable; detailed oriented; and able to interfaceeasily with clients, staff, and referral sources. ?Must be able to carry up to 20 pounds. ?Must successfully complete the introductoryprobationary employment period. ?Must have a valid CT driver's license This jobdescription covers the most significant duties but does not exclude otherassignments or related duties.
