Document Processing Specialist - 1st Shift

Seeking a Document Processing Specialist to join our team on the 1st shift, focusing on handling and processing complex transactions efficiently.
This role involves processing and sorting documents, managing rejected transactions, and ensuring compliance with client instructions and departmental standards in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- LOCATION: Monterey Park, CA 91754
- PAY RATE: $17.00hr
- SCHEDULE: Sunday – 5:30am- 2:00 pm / Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri - 6:00am - 2:30pm / OFF – Tues & Sat
- Contract: 10/26/26 – 01/23/27
Responsibilities
- Retrieve rejected transactions from various processing areas using reports and audit trails.
- Sort transactions and make decisions on processing according to client guidelines.
- Prepare batched items with control documents and processing headers.
- Operate high-speed mail extraction and scanning equipment including I-Tran, IMBL, and OPEX models.
- Handle medium to high complexity client sorting and transaction decisioning.
- Maintain accuracy and productivity standards.
- Provide training assistance when required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in document processing or data entry.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Computer proficiency.
- Ability to read and make independent decisions.
- Effective working independently and collaboratively.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented setting.
- Strong interpersonal and team skills.
- Adaptable to change and quick to learn new processes.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy standards.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Able to stand for long durations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with LXBX scanning technology.
Work Environment
- Fast-paced processing environment with physical demands including standing and lifting.
