Keke's Breakfast Cafe is hiring for an Expeditor for the Hollywood location. SUMMARY OF POSITION Ensure that food is cooked in the right order, quickly, and presented to the customer as beautifully as possible. Provide responsive support service to create an exceptional dining experience for all our guests by assisting the servers in their duties and responsibilities. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure orders are being cooked in a timely fashion, so that all orders for a table are ready at the same time. Ensure that once the food is cooked, servers run food to the table while it's warm and ready. Read tickets and prepare, to order, all food items following standard recipes and procedures within specified time limits (8-10 minutes). Prepare recipes and plate presentations, correctly set up according to tickets. Deliver food from kitchen to guests in a timely matter cooperatively with the server when additional food runner is not available. Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required. Prepare toast as business needs require. Maintain clean server line areas. Surfaces, utensils, containers, etc. on server line must be constantly cleaned and organized. Be ready and willing to assist co-workers as situations arise. Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor. QUALIFICATIONS Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 6 hours). Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in the predominant language(s) of our guests. Must have exceptional grooming habits. REQUIREMENTS MUST BE AVAILABLE 6:00 am to 4:00 pm EVERYDAY INCLUDING HOLIDAYS. Full time applicants must consider Keke's as their primary place of employment.
