FTE: 1 (Scheduled Bi-Weekly Hours 80) | Work Shift: Day (8 hours) Job Description The Clinical Manager has twenty‑four (24) hour responsibility for the management of nursing and technologist practice and operations in the assigned units. The Clinical Manager collaborates with multiple professionals to support and coordinate the provision and management of patient care, working closely with clinical Directors, physicians and staff to ensure the unit maintains the highest standards of patient care and is responsive to the needs of the patient & family. Supply chain and budget management Clinical nursing practice oversight Staff recruitment, retention, and labor relations Education and employee performance evaluation Quality improvement initiatives Compliance with internal and external regulatory and survey requirements Develop and attain unit goals; lead teams and implement change for clinical, operational, and financial performance improvement Qualifications Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Master’s degree in Nursing or related health field preferred (may be in progress). Three (3) years progressive clinical leadership experience with demonstrated management competency. Three (3) years clinical experience in a specialty area. Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal skills and teamwork. Ability to organize, prioritize, and delegate appropriately. License, Certification, and Registration Current California RN license required. Basic Life Support certification required. Specialty certification preferred. Department Specific: Interventional and Operating Room – Current fire and safety certification within 90 days of hire. Salary $95.02 - $142.53 USD per hour. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Sedentary work – duties performed mostly while sitting; walking and standing at times. Occasionally lift or carry up to 10 lbs. Uses hands and fingers.
