Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.Paying and receiving teller for retail and commercial businesses, knowledge of a Recycler usefulProcess multiple transactions accurately and consistentlySell money orders and official checks, order foreign currencyPromote BancFirst services through cross selling banking products to new and existing clientele, minimum goals and sales incentive will applyWorld class customer service will be required at all timesConsistent execution of policies and proceduresAssist with other job related duties as requested by supervisor/managerRequirementsMust be able to process transactions accurately with consistencyWork well under stress and deadlines while managing multiple tasksAble to focus on task at hand with distractions in close quartersUnderstanding of debits and creditsHigh School Graduate or High School equivalencyKnowledge of currency security featuresAbility to balance teller cash and maintain acceptable balancing percentages as defined by managementMaintain Branch cash vault (if applicable)Knowledge of consignment items and their issuanceAble to perform in a highly sensitive environment, deal with confidential matters and meet deadlinesWork well individually and with a team while maintaining a positive attitudeMust demonstrate a business professional image and demeanorMust be able to communicate professionally both verbally and in writingMust be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time during the workdayMust be able to lift (on occasion) 10-20 poundsCritical thinking skills and Excellent work ethic a mustMust be flexible and able to work additional hours when crucial to the branch environmentAble to perform opening and closing duties while maintaining security standardsRegular and consistent attendance and punctuality is an essential function of the jobPreferred Skills And QualificationsPrevious teller experience a plus, but will trainBilingual (Spanish) a plusPhysical RequirementsConstant use of computer screensAbility to operate a computer keyboard, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see or hearIntermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling or crouchingAbility to sit and/or stand for long periods of time during the workdayLong periods of typing and repetitive motionAbility to lift and/or move and carry 10-25 pounds (cash canisters, coin boxes/bags)Hometown service, statewide strength.
