Second Shift Warehouse Stocker SummaryTo deliver more than is expected to the stores by providing a positive first impression, determining actual needs, delivering real solutions, adding value where I can, and leaving the stores with an excellent impression of the warehouse.As a Second Shift Warehouse Stocker, this is what I do:Basic Warehouse Stocker Procedures – Responsible for stocking items using a stand up/reach forklift. Also responsible for putting away product overstock to secondary back stock locations after it has been received and posted to inventory, paying close attention that the product is in good saleable condition and that the expiration date is within an acceptable date range.Warehouse Operations – Support warehouse operations including department readiness, staffing, supervision, price maintenance, policies and procedures, inventory preparation, department financial goals and objectives, department cleanliness, and safe use of equipment and tools.Replenishment & Inventory Procedures – Support replenishment and inventory processes including ordering, replenishment, receiving, invoicing and accounting, back stock, reclamation and returns, damages and reworks, supply use and inventory preparation.Problem Solving – Clearly define issues upfront and then use critical thinking skills and logic to effectively obtain answers to questions through a conscious and organized manner.Safety/Quality Orientation – Consistently produce and emphasize the need to produce high quality products and services while being aware of the issues and following procedures that affect personal safety and the safety of others.Position Requirements:High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred. Counting and math skills required.No previous experience requiredAdaptable to different situations and the ability to respond with flexibility to shifting priorities and rapid changeAbility to interpret, understand and follow instructionsAbility to complete tasks in a timely mannerMoves, lifts, carries and places merchandise and supplies weighing 50 to 60 pounds when necessaryFrequently reaches overhead and below the knees, including pushing, pulling, squatting, kneeling, bending, stooping, crouching and twisting with or without bearing weight.
