Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse. The role requires experience in a Level I Nursery and LDRP. Candidates must have experience circulating for C-sections and providing postpartum care. The work schedule is three 12-hour night shifts with variable days of the week. Weekend shifts are required as needed by the unit. Floating within scope to meet facility needs may be expected. No local candidates will be accepted within 50 miles of the facility. Finalized time off requests must be included with submission. No time off is allowed within the first week of the assignment and no more than 7 days of time off is permitted during the contract. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:1 to 1:2 during nights. Travelers are expected to complete any assigned education within one week of the assignment. Knowledge and experience in the administration of IVs, labor and delivery procedures, and neonatal resuscitation are essential. Candidates should have strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Demonstrated competence in providing care for patients in various stages of labor and delivery is necessary. Familiarity with electronic medical record systems is required. Compliance with facility policies and procedures is expected. All other duties as assigned will be required.
