- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or first responders when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including building interiors, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, lobbies, and common areas, assisting with visitor access, reporting maintenance or security-related issues, and helping to support an orderly environment at the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
