Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Float Position Santa Fe, New Mexico. This position involves providing patient care across medical-surgical units within the healthcare facility. The RN will coordinate and implement patient care tailored to the needs of diverse patient populations, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained. The role emphasizes teamwork, clinical excellence, and adherence to organizational goals.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license; BLS Certification via AHA; ACLS Certification via AHA; at least 3 years of experience; ability to work nights and float across units
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in medical-surgical or float positions in a hospital setting; familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for initial assessments, developing and modifying individualized care plans, participating in patient and family education, and performing point-of-care testing. The role supports clinical staff in maintaining high patient satisfaction and safety standards, fostering a collaborative work environment, and adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
