Key Responsibilities for the ICU Registered Nurse:

• Deliver exceptional care to critically ill patients through ongoing monitoring, detailed assessments, and timely adjustments to individualized care plans.
• Safely and accurately administer medications, treatments, and life-saving procedures.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and healthcare staff to develop personalized care strategies for each patient.
• Skillfully operate advanced medical equipment, such as ventilators and life-support systems, maintaining optimal function and safety.
• Provide patients' families with education, support, and regular updates, ensuring open and empathetic communication.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient care in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in New Mexico.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Prior experience in ICU or critical care strongly preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Capacity to perform effectively in high-stress environments while delivering exceptional patient care.
