Travel Respiratory Therapist NICU/PICU - $1,435 per week

Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a position in Miami, Florida. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 05/26/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel We are looking for a Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapist (Peds‑RRT) with at least one year of recent acute care experience. The role requires clinicians to perform direct patient care and work across clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments per procedural guidelines. Responsibilities Administer a range of respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment; evaluate equipment safety and report malfunctions. Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines. Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and hospital personnel to optimize patient care continuum. Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty, and lift 20 pounds easily. Lifting patients up to 50 pounds may be required. Must possess adequate vision including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience. Certification: NBRC‑RRT, BLS, ACLS. PALS and NRP may be required. Additional certifications may be required before assignment. Education: 2 years college or equivalent. Compensation Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
