Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Room (ER I)

We are currently seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER I) to join our team on a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced emergency department setting, supporting patients with diverse and urgent medical needs.

Position Type: Long-Term (13 Weeks) Shift: Night Shift (12-Hour Shifts) Schedule: 36 Hours/Week | Every Other Weekend (EOW) | Every Other Holiday (EOH) | No On-Call Pay Rate: $65.00 – $68.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a high-volume emergency department.
• Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Accurately document all care in EPIC (ASAP module) per facility standards.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the State of Connecticut (CT) – Required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) experience – Required
• Experience in an Emergency Department with daily patient volumes exceeding 200 – Required
• EPIC EMR experience (ASAP module) within the last 6 months – Required
