We are seeking a talented and committed professional to provide exceptional critical care coverage in a 20-bed ICU. This role offers flexible PRN night and weekend shifts, allowing you to maintain work-life balance while making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes in a reputable healthcare environment. Required Skills: Board Certification in Critical Care Medicine (BC Critical Care) Valid Massachusetts Medical License BLS and ACLS Certifications Minimum of 1 year of relevant ICU experience Proficiency in procedures (preferred, with supervision by residents when applicable) Experience with Epic EMR software Ability to supervise and coordinate with internal medicine residents and healthcare team members Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience supervising residents Strong procedural skills in critical care settings Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities Familiarity with inpatient ICU workflows and protocols Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Board-certified in Critical Care Medicine At least 1 year of previous ICU coverage or supervisory experience in a hospital environment Other Requirements: Massachusetts state license (or willing to license promptly, with current licensing preferred) Local candidates only; no travel reimbursement provided Night shifts (7p-8a) and weekends (varied shifts with 13-hour nights preferred) Ability to work flexibly on PRN basis to cover schedule gaps Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety This is an excellent opportunity for dedicated critical care physicians to contribute their expertise in a supportive environment.
