Luxury Wine Specialist

On‑Premise Sales Consultant – Luxury Spirits & Estate Wines Focus: Sales and brand stewardship in Alexandria and Arlington for luxury spirits and estate wines within the Oxford Street Merchants team. Job Responsibilities Plan and execute luxury consumer events to acquire new business, expose the brand, and grow sales. Develop and maintain a Target Accounts list to expand the luxury portfolio in the designated territory. Secure new Points of Distribution and increase market share through placements in key independent retail and on‑premises accounts. Increase “by the glass” presence within influential accounts. Identify iconic/key accounts and develop account performance and activation plans. Manage the execution of luxury allocations in partnership with key accounts. Collaborate with brand managers and supplier personnel to design experiences that acquire, sell, and retain consumers. Serve as a brand/category product knowledge expert, providing training and insights to consumers and trade. Conduct competitive analysis and use insights to inform innovative programs and ideas with brand and supplier sales teams. Qualifications Dynamic and creative storyteller with previous sales experience in luxury wine or adult beverage industry. Industry certifications preferred (WSET II, WSET III, CSW, CSS, Court of Master Sommelier). Impeccable time management; ability to multi‑task and meet deadlines. Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation; ability to travel within the designated market. 2+ years of luxury sales experience with a proven track record of territory growth. Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred (or equivalent industry experience/skills). Must pass criminal background and MVR checks. Worker Sub‑Type: Regular Time. Type: Full time.
