Staff Auditor | 1-Year Contract

Location: North side of Indianapolis, IN

Schedule: Full-time | Hybrid after training

Contract Length: 1 year

A well-established CPA firm on the north side of Indianapolis is seeking a Staff Auditor to join its team for a one-year contract assignment . This is a great opportunity for someone with an accounting, finance, business, or economics background who is detail-oriented and interested in gaining hands-on audit experience within a professional services environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with financial and compliance audit engagements
• Review financial records and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Identify discrepancies and follow up on outstanding information
• Prepare clear and organized audit workpapers
• Maintain accurate documentation throughout the audit process
• Communicate professionally with internal team members
• Manage multiple assignments and deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail

Schedule & Work Arrangement

• Must be available to train fully onsite for the first 30 days
• After completing training, employees may work up to 2 days remotely per week
• Remaining days will be worked onsite at the firm’s north Indianapolis office
• One-year contract opportunity

Qualifications

• Completed Associate’s and/or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Comfortable reviewing financial information and working with large amounts of data
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to learn new processes and systems quickly
• Dependable, professional, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Previous accounting, finance, or audit experience is a plus, but not required
