School Nurse Position

Supplemental Health Care is a national hiring partner for schools across the United States. We work with districts nationwide to hire thousands of school professionals every year. Currently, we're hiring school nurses to work in a partnering school located in Algonquin, Illinois.

Qualifications:

• Illinois RN License through the Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
• Illinois ISBE Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Nurse endorsement
• American Heart Association BLS
• Minimum of 1 year of prior nursing experience in a school or pediatric setting

School Health Office RN Contract Details:

• $43.50 - $46.85 per hour
• 3-week contracts
• Schedule follows the school district calendar
• RN will see students on an as-needed basis in the school health office
• Nurse will be working in collaboration with the school interdisciplinary team and student guardian(s) to promote physical and emotional safety and wellness

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Providing healthcare to students with acute or chronic health problems
• Conduct screenings and write referrals for health services or treatment
• Maintaining Student Records while complying with state and federal screenings
• Promoting education and wellness initiatives
