Patient Care Specialist, OTS - Spine - Northern Ohio
Orthofix
Orthofix seeks a Patient Care Specialist to support Territory Managers and distributors in Northern Ohio by providing patient education, device fittings, and administrative support for bone growth therapy products. This remote position involves regular territory travel and direct patient interaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient fittings and support device application
- Conduct educational meetings with patients and clinical staff
- Manage patient paperwork, benefit explanations, and order submissions
- Field patient inquiries and handle HIPAA-protected information
- Maintain accurate monthly logs documenting fittings and device details
Requirements
- Current residency in Northern Ohio
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to present information to individuals and groups
- Proficiency in maintaining detailed patient fitting records
- Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
- Capacity to lift and transport products weighing 20-30 pounds
- Reliable attendance and commitment to 90% territory travel
