Preferred candidates should possess or being quickly able to perform the following tasks/skills:

• Perform general office operations, including answering phones, greeting clients and guests, scheduling appointments, and preparing conference rooms for meetings and events.
• Assist with association management responsibilities, including social media coordination and member support.
• Coordinate and assist with meeting and event planning.
• Utilize programs such as Constant Contact and Canva; prior experience is beneficial, but a willingness and ability to learn new programs is essential.
• Attend and report on legislative hearings and state agency meetings, with the ability to prepare clear, comprehensive, and timely written reports.
• Utilize legislative bill-tracking software to monitor and report on legislative activity.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to retain and accurately communicate information.
• Work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating dependability, efficiency, flexibility, and a willingness to assist wherever needed.
• Manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously while effectively prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain excellent client relations while consistently providing a professional and positive representation of the company.
• Coordinate and assist on client legislative days at the Capitol
