About the job
A leading hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join its Maternal Fetal Medicine clinic. You will work with MFM physicians to help assess and diagnose pregnancy conditions. The ideal candidate puts patients at ease while delivering diagnostic quality images.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and complex OB/GYN ultrasound exams following protocol
- Explain each exam and assess the patient’s ability to tolerate it
- Use sterile technique during invasive procedures
- Verify patient history and consent forms
- Keep imaging records current for timely physician interpretation
- Maintain equipment and supplies and report issues promptly
- Train new team members on procedures and services
Requirements:
- RDMS in Fetal Echocardiography (required)
- Minimum 2 years of Fetal Echo experience (required)
- RDMS in Abdomen or OB/GYN or ARRT in Sonography (required)
- BLS certification (required)
