You will also be responsible for educating them and their families on relapse prevention and healthy habits. The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best nursing care with little supervision. You will be compassionate and cool-tempered. You will be able to follow health and safety guidelines consistently. The goal is to promote patients well-being by providing high quality nursing care./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliMonitor patients condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care/liliObserve and interpret patients symptoms and communicate them to providers/liliCollaborate with medical director, and NPs to devise individualized care plans for patients/liliPerform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients charts/liliAdjust and administer patients medication and provide treatments according to physicians orders/liliInspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.)/liliProvide instant medical care in emergencies/liliSupervise and train BHT staff/liliFoster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients/liliExpand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliValid licensed vocational nurse (LVN) or equivalent./liliExperience working in detox and substance abuse preferred/liliBasic knowledge of Kipu EMR/liliExcellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures/liliExcellent knowledge of emergency care/liliIn-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times/liliA team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills/liliResponsible and compassionate/liliOutstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills/liliPatient with excellent problem-solving skills/li/ul/div
