Job Summary

The IT Service Technician will provide daily, hands-on end-user support related to network, hardware, and software issues. Responsibilities include account creation, setting up and troubleshooting computers, printers, copiers, scanners, phones, and audio/visual equipment. The technician will use excellent technical troubleshooting skills to resolve issues and may assist with network security and user training. They will ensure software updates are effectively deployed and act as the first point of contact for IT-related issues at the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional end-user support for company systems and hardware.
• Manage computer setup, deployment, and replacement.
• Handle user onboarding and offboarding.
• Perform password resets, MFA resets, account unlocks, and basic Microsoft 365 user administration.
• Support printers, scanners, phones, and peripherals.
• Provide basic Epicor and PDM user support, including password resets and routine user issues.
• Troubleshoot basic network issues such as Wi-Fi, VPN connectivity, and workstation network issues using documented procedures.
• Manage hardware inventory and asset management.
• Maintain user documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Perform routine operational checks according to documented procedures.
• Escalate infrastructure, cybersecurity, server, networking, and other advanced technical issues to the Director of IT & Cybersecurity.
• Manage helpdesk tickets and document issues for problem resolution.
• Execute implementation of desktop configuration management.
• Monitor and perform audits of computer systems and backups.
• Train users in various company systems and security procedures.
• Participate in internal and external audits to support company compliance with AS9100 and other regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• 2-year Technical degree in computer sciences, information systems, or a relevant discipline; bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience as an IT service technician; experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• A combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
• Experience with various programming languages, software, and systems; Microsoft Office and Epicor strongly preferred.
• Experience with various servers and networking tools.
• Experience working with end users, including training on new software and systems.
