CATERING ATTENDANT (PART TIME)

Position Details Position: Catering Attendant (Part Time) Location: 2K Novato – 9 Hamilton Landing, Novato, CA 94949 Schedule: Part-time; Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 4:00 am to business needs. More details upon interview. Pay Range: $24.00–$29.00 per hour Requirements: Food service and hospitality experience preferred; willing to train. Job Summary Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain. Ensures accurate execution of all events during the shift. May drive a catering delivery truck. Sets up, serves at functions, cleans event area during and after events, breaks down setup, leaves area neat and clean, returns leftover food and equipment to the catering facility in a timely manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assemble and deliver all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations. Log and maintain food temperatures. Arrange tables and decorations. Arrange buffet tables with food, beverage and service items according to standards. Serve food and beverages to guests. Thoroughly clean location after event completion. Return food and beverages, serving equipment and utensils to catering facility. Distribute and collect customer comment cards for catered functions. Stock, clean and maintain catering facility and equipment. Ensure guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of complete menu and products on hand. Maintain clean and safe work environment. Follow safety and sanitation policy and procedures at all times. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Valid driver’s license (may be required). Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler’s permit and/or alcohol server’s permit where required by state law.
