Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical care to provide high-quality patient services on a 13-week assignment. The role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care for cardiac Medical/Surgical patients during evening shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and interventions while monitoring patient responses.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient assessments, care activities, and progress accurately in electronic health records.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management.
• Respond promptly to patient needs, emergencies, and changes in condition.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license to practice in Tennessee.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical Surgical experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Proven competence in patient documentation and electronic health records.
