About the Position

Job Title: Medical Lab Scientist Profession: Medical Technologist Specialty: Laboratory Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: Full License Required Certifications: ASCP (MLS, CLS, MT Medical Technologist) Description: Need a Medical Lab Scientist for Point of Care Testing. Candidates must have MLS certification through ASCP or equivalent. The position involves performing clerical duties as assigned by nursing and laboratory management in support of operations. Candidates must possess a full license, not an associate license. Knowledge of point of care testing is preferred. The successful candidate is required to have ASCP certification. Clerical duties will be assigned as necessary. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to work collaboratively and support unit operations. Candidates must demonstrate professionalism and a strong work ethic. There are specific procedures performed on the unit related to point of care testing. Willingness to engage in diverse tasks within the department is expected.
